Duramax EGR Code Blocker Kit On 2004.5 and up LLY and LBZ engines have EGR emissions. Often when you install an aftermarket exhaust or remove your muffler and/or resonator, the check engine light will come on. By installing this code blocker and blockoff plate, you prevent your engine from "recycling" exhaust gas and also keeps check engine lights from coming on with your aftermarket exhaust.
